what you can expect during a tour
our walking tour offers an in-depth and critical perspective on public spaces. we connect contemporary academic and non-academic theories to concrete places in Amsterdam’s historic city centre.
cultural artifacts
we examine facades, restaurants, monuments and squares in discussing speciesism. in this, we dive deep into the city's colonial past.
thinking multispecies
learn to see more-than-human animals as individuals that inhabit the city's fabric. how do we move towards multispecies justice?
small groups
with a maximum of 15 participants per group, we create space for interaction, discussion, and in-depth reflection throughout the two-hour tour.
for curious minds
no specific prior knowledge is required: students, academics, activists, and curious explorers are all welcome. our tours are offered in English by default, but can also be organized in Dutch, French or Spanish upon request.
